Silicon Carbide Ceramic Membrane for High Standard Drinking Water Applications

General Manager Zhang Yunfei made a detailed introduction around the pain points of high-standard drinking water treatment, combined with the advantages of silicon carbide ceramic membrane and classic cases. Silicon carbide ceramic membrane is made of silicon carbide, with excellent filtration performance, strong chemical stability, material safety, good anti-pollution, etc. It has been widely used in domestic and international drinking water purification projects, including urban water purification, agricultural drinking water treatment and reclaimed water treatment, etc. In addition, there is a significant breakthrough in the purification of new pollutants PFAS/PFOS, and the product is used in the renovation of a water plant in the state of Tennessee (scale 3.87 million tons/day), which plays a role in global drinking water safety guarantee. The advantages of silicon carbide ceramic membrane in high standard drinking water:

1. Excellent water quality: turbidity <0.1NTU, microbial removal rate of 99.999%, up to the standard of drinking water and some indicators are better than those in Europe and the United States.

2. Long service life: 2400 ℃ recrystallization of sintered silicon carbide material, life expectancy of more than 20 years under normal working conditions.

3. Short process and land saving: abandon the long process, process simplification, equipment standardization, short construction cycle.

4. Strong shock load resistance: when the quality of raw water fluctuates drastically (such as rainstorms, floods), it can still guarantee that the water is stable and meets the standard.
